How To View Hidden Number of Feedburner Subscribers On Any Site

If you are a blogger and you don't want to show your subscriber numbers, remember this: Even though you are not displaying the FeedCount widget which shows the number of subscribers, if you have enabled it, anybody can see your subscriber number.

The URL to a site's articles feed is

http://feeds.feedburner.com/NameOFTheSite      

For example http://feeds.feedburner.com/YankoDesign

To see the FeedCount numbers all you need to do is insert "/~fc"  before the /NameOfTheSite of the URL, like this:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/NameOFTheSite    

For example    http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/YankoDesign

When you go to that link you can see the feed count for that feed:

If you are a blogger and don't want anybody to see your subscriber numbers, you need to go into the Feedburner Publicize tab, click on FeedCount, and then click Deactivate:

After that anybody tries to see the number of subscribers using the trick described will receive an error message:
