How To Use Speed Dial in Opera

Opera 9.2 web browser has some interesting features, the Speed Dial being one of the most important. With Speed Dial you have a new way to access your favorite Web sites. Just open a new tab to get a 3x3 grid of thumbnails, each representing a Web address.
It's addictive and is how you populate it:

1. The first step is to open Opera and to click on the New tab button.

2. This will open the Sped Dial page, containing the 9 thumbnails for you favorite sites.

3. In order to add a site click one of the 9 boxes.  A window will popup listing frequently opened pages plus any currently open pages. In case you site is not listed, enter the address in the textbox. Click OK.

4. Speed Dial is fun because it lets you see an updated thumbnail of the site, based on an interval that you set. Lets set the interval for the site you have just added. Right click the thumbnail and select Reload every -> Custom.

5. Set the reload interval, check the Enable checkbox and click OK.

6. Repeat the last 3 steps for the other boxes.
