How To Remove the Search Bar in Internet Explorer 7

Microsoft didn't make an easy option for getting the search box off in Internet Explorer 7 in the case you are using a toolbar, Yahoo or Google, when searching for something on the Internet. Therefore here is what you have to do so that the search box won't appear:

1. Open the Registry Editor (Start -> Run..., type regedit and press Enter).
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Policies -> Microsoft ->
3. At this point you are supposed to create new entries in the registry. So here it goes. Right click Microsoft and select New -> Key.

Name it Internet Explorer, right click it and once again select New -> Key. This time the name for the key is Infodelivery. Right click on this last key and select New -> Key, name it Restrictions.
4. Here right click on a blank space in the right pane and select New -> DWORD Value.
5. Name the new entry NoSearchBox and give it a value of 1.

6. Restart IE to see the changes.
