How To Enable Aurora Boot Screen In Windows Vista

Boot screen is the graphical representation of boot process of the operating system (kernel). The boot screen can be a simple visualisation of the scrolling boot messages in the console, but it can also present graphics or some combinations of both. The default Windows Vista boot screen hasn't got any change from the one in Windows XP. Anyway you can enable a more pleasant boot screen, which Microsoft decided to hide from us.

1. Click Start and type msconfig in the Search Bar. Hit Enter.

2. Navigate to the Boot tab.

3. Check the No GUI boot checkbox.

4. Click Apply, then OK and restart your computer.

5. On boot you should see the new screen, Aurora.
