Windows Vista is the latest in Microsoft's line of graphical operating systems used on personal computers, including home and business desktops, notebook computers, Tablet PCs, and media centers. Users of Windows Vista have the possibility of checking the activation status of the operating system, to see if they are fully activated or if the computer is properly connected to the Key Management Server (KMS).
Here is what you have to do:
1. Click the Start Orb and type cmd in the Start Search field.
Hit Enter. 2. When the Command Prompt opens type slmgr.vbs -dli.
3. Wait for a few seconds until a window pops. Here you can see all the information about your activation status.
