Many people who are on the Internet nowadays are using the Firefox browser, and as for their email client Thunderbird is very popular among them. They bookmark sites and store important emails. But there are times when you have to reinstall Windows due to some unknown reasons, in this way losing all their bookmarked sites.
For this unfortunate moment there is MozBackup, a simple utility for creating backups of Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Suite and Netscape profiles. It allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, cache.
First download the program from here. Install the program, and open it.
1. On the first screen click Next.

2. Now you will be prompted with the option to select either to backup a profile or to restore one. Here we will show you how to make a backup, therefore select the checkbox next to Backup a profile.

3. On the same window all your Mozilla applications are shown and you must select one to get to the next step.

4. Choose the name of the profile to backup. In the picture below you can see only one profile, the default one. Clicking the Browse button you can choose where to save your backup file. When done click Next.

5. Select what you want to backup. Once you click Next the backup will be created and can be used whenever you want.

Use the same application to restore a previous made backup.
